- Samantha Hamer is currently editing footage of her 48hr challange film and is looking for help to turn the material into a trailer for a further project. Also requiring a composer/dance choreographer for her film 'Behind The Dancer'.

-'Somewhere' A group of artists are designing and creating a floating cinema boat which they aim to float around London canals this summer. Not yet taking submissions, but keep an eye on their progress.

Thomas Everchild will contact the BFI to see if they can accept short films for showing.

- 'No Particular Place To Go' written/directed by Doug Devaney.
Chronical Theatre's first play tells the story of an international airport from the point of view of the homeless who have come to live within its terminals.

- Adrian, Emma and Stephen Haw are currently in many a meeting, no change there, about redesigning and expanding the BFC website. Lots of work for a sexy site, thank you Mr. Haw.


- If anyone would like to write blogs or small articles on relevant filmmaking topics then please get in contact. We would love to start getting members more involved with generating usable content when the new website is up and running. New articles and blogs will be linked here.

8. GENERAL INFO & NEW PEOPLE:

-We have been approached by Spindle magazine, a quarterly free arts Brighton based mag. Covering art, fashion, photoghraphy etc and in each issue they included a 'Ones To Watch' section. For their May issue they are considering featuring filmmakers from The Filmmakers Coalition. Please submit your details for us to compile and pass on to Spindle Magazine for selection.

Deadline to submit: 5pm 27th March.

- Newbie, Yvonne Luna, a performer and beginner film maker, has recently made a documentary short on work with people with learning difficulties in France.

- See Red: Last week Andy Nichols asked if anyone would be interested in taking part in a day test shoot for the Red One camera and steadicam rig. The test shoot has now turned into a full short film, scripted by Thomas Everchild from ideas by cast and crew.
