--Advanced scriptwriting workshops will be starting in November. These can be taken as standalone workshops or as a follow on from the basic scriptwriting workshops.

--We met Skint and went over every part of the release forms so the new documents should be final. Coming soon

6.FESTIVALS, COMPETITIONS, SCREENINGS, EXHIBITIONS -
--The BFC and Geisha Arts will be starting weekly screenings in Madame Geisha on the 12th of October. We will have a small bar during the breaks and will encourage thoughts and discussion about whats shown (if you have something to add if not come and enjoy whats on show)

There is opportunity (and we will be regularly asking) for members to get involved with helping to suggest films to show and present or running nights with their choose of film or area of interest.

Brighton Photo Fringe is a vibrant event that engages with photographers, lens-based artists and a diverse public audience. Every two years Brighton Photo Fringe coordinates a city-wide festival of exhibitions and events in partnership with Brighton Photo Biennial.

8.GENERAL INFO & NEW PEOPLE
--Friday, 1st October: Noizy Image presents an evening of film screening, poetry and music starting with the topic of African Infusion and will be raising money for LGBTI safe houses in Africa. At The Marlborough Theatre. Entry 5 Pounds. (Regular night on the first Friday of every month).


--Sunday, 3rd October, 7.30pm: Sussex Playwrights Club has been established in Brighton since 1935. Here new plays are read and discussed. This is an opportunity for actors and actresses to practice in front of an audience. At the New Venture Theatre, Bedford Place, Brighton.

Calling all creative and expressive film producers, flamboyant cultivators of the moving image!

Five Minutes of Madness challenges you to create and submit short films around the theme of Lunacy. Part of ‘The Festival of Lunacy’ Presented by Compass this year. Five Minutes of Madness will bring together film-makers from far and wide to exhibit their work here in Bristol.

-Sascha Cooper needs a filmmaker to shoot and edit a promo for her stage production of 'Women At The Thesmophoria', ready for it's start in November. You will shooting at the rehrsal stage in the last part of Sept.

- Gary Mepsted 'The Crossroads Club' was commisioned to write a 75min feature film script, the production company have dropped out of making it, so he is donating it to the Coalition. Main actors are already cast, supporting cast are not. If anyone is intersted in taking up the gauntlet of making it happen or simply to be cast, please e-mail for a copy of the script.

- Robin Hayter is casting young girls 18-25 for a DV short film, called 'Palamos', about sex trafficking.
