--We have decided to postpone the advanced scriptwriting workshop until the new year as we didn't want to split the course over Christmas and disrupt your creative flow. We also want to advertise it a little more and let people know that they will be getting a 10 week course with Gary mepsted, a script and creative writing tutor. If your interested (some of you are already) then please email.

5. FILM CHALLENGES -

--We are still looking for a film challenge coordinator to help us plan out future challenges and assist us and members organise them. We need dedicated people who have done challenges before and understand the spirit of the challenge and why we run them while working closely with the rest of our team. This is a named position with guidelines to work to. please email us your interest.

--We need a showreel of somekind to show off our work and for use as marketing and advertising purposes. Suggestions and ideas for this is are most welcome, format, length or what to include etc. Also no reason why we cant have a few that vary.

6.FESTIVALS, COMPETITIONS, SCREENINGS, EXHIBITIONS -
--The BFC and Geisha Arts will be starting weekly screenings in Madame Geisha on the 12th of October. We will have a small bar during the breaks and will encourage thoughts and discussion about whats shown (if you have something to add if not come and enjoy whats on show)

There is opportunity (and we will be regularly asking) for members to get involved with helping to suggest films to show and present or running nights with their choose of film or area of interest.

Brighton Photo Fringe is a vibrant event that engages with photographers, lens-based artists and a diverse public audience. Every two years Brighton Photo Fringe coordinates a city-wide festival of exhibitions and events in partnership with Brighton Photo Biennial.

--Sunday, 3rd October, 7.30pm: Sussex Playwrights Club has been established in Brighton since 1935. Here new plays are read and discussed. This is an opportunity for actors and actresses to practice in front of an audience. At the New Venture Theatre, Bedford Place, Brighton.
